For this assignment, I was tasked with making a work inspired by Emory Douglas. The design I came up with was a reference to his work while he was with the Black Panthers, both in the style and the message within.

When the initial design was approved, I was requested with applying it to a product, specifically, a tote bag. I was also tasked with including a quote from Douglas, the logo of the affiliate museum, and a few more details...

The final step of this assignment was to have my work on the product. I used Adobe to create a mock-up, wrapping several versions of my work around the tote bag, and showing it off from its various angles. Overall, a great success.

The next job of mine came from a few high-ranking organizers and associates from the 2023 Greek Independence Parade. In short, it was a promotional poster that could also be used on shirts and a few other memorabilia.

While the original concept I sent (shown above) featured a cross in reference to the Greek flag, I was asked to swap it out with an Evzone (a Greek soldier also known as a "tsolias"). I was more than happy to oblige.

The next iteration was a request to change the bottom text to make it more about the Independence Day parade happening in Baltimore, while also changing the font to something more, let's say "elegant."

This final iteration was a request to see if having the dialogue wrap around the solider would be a more visually-appealing option. Whether or not it was what they wanted and why, I'll never know, but that's the life of an artist for you.
